eldritch Priest: Tapeworm sFoundry
Online, stereo presentation of The Tapeworm sFoundry, an installation work based on The Tapeworm Foundry (2000), a long poem by Darren Wershler-Henry that gives instructions or suggestions for creating avant-garde artworks. In one speaker (centre) is heard a 12000 word poem that’s passed between six different synthetic voices. Each of these voices is accompanied by four instruments that are heard from the other four surrounding speakers. These instruments (as well as the voice) come in an out of the mix according to a software patch that randomizes when and for how long each will be heard.
